(Small Animal Medicine)
Yvonne graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1997 and following
two years in small animal practice she returned to the vet school as a resident
in small animal internal medicine. She was awarded the RCVS certificate
in small animal medicine in 2000. On completion of her residency she spent
six months working in the intensive care unit at the Royal
Veterinary College in London then took up a position as a consultant in
medicine and critical care at a referral hospital in Essex. She now runs
her own medicine and critical care referral business based in Stirling,
Scotland. Her clinical interests include the management of peritonitis,
the acute phase response, endocrine emergencies and all aspects of critical
care.
