John Dunn graduated from the Royal (Dick) School
of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. He spent 5 years at the
University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where he completed his Masters degree
in veterinary internal medicine. He then spent the next 15 years as a lecturer
in Small Animal Medicine and Clinical Pathology at the University of Cambridge
Veterinary School. His main interests include all aspects of internal medicine
and clinical pathology, particularly comparative haematology, clinical immunology
and diagnostic cytology.
He is a Diplomate of both the European College of Veterinary
Internal Medicine (Companion Animals) and the European College of
Veterinary Clinical Pathology, and in 2001 was granted Membership of the
Royal College of Pathologists. He is a past recipient of the BSAVA's Woodrow
Award and is author of "Textbook of Small Animal Medicine". |
