| Stand 413 |
The 50th BSAVA Congress was a triumph for Axiom Veterinary Laboratories.
Our stand was once again popular with record numbers of
delegates, our existing clients and those practitioners looking to find
out how they can utilise the quality clinical pathology service visiting
us throughout the 3.5 days of the exhibition. The excellent feedback we
gained on our entire service provision illustrated why more and more practitioners
are switching their external laboratory submission to us.
For those of you who were unable to attend, we will exhibit
in 2008 and look forward to seeing you then. |
| New Clinical
Pathologist |
| Dr. Elizabeth Steeves BSc, MSc,
MVSc, DipACVP. will be joining us in May. Elizabeth graduated from the Western
College of Veterinary Medicine in Canada in 1994 and spent 3 years in small
animal practice before completing a 3-year residency and an MVSc. in veterinary
clinical pathology. Elizabeth is also a Diplomate of the American College
of Veterinary Pathology. |
| Feline Pro-BNP |
Following last years introduction of canine pro-BNP,
we are pleased to announce that we now offer a feline equivalent.
We will accept plain clotted samples for serum; or, whole
heparin or edta for plasma but we would prefer separated samples,
eg serum or plasma which has been separated from the blood cells and put
into a plain tube labelled e.g. serum or plasma. |
| Email
Reports - Developments |
For those practices who have recently made the switch to
email and need to discuss how results can be entered into the patient files,
please contact Simon Wootton on 01626 355655 or email simonwootton @axiomvetlab.co.uk
to discuss the options available for your practice management program.
We have also just created a Visual Basic Macro, which will
allow html files to be exported as text files and saved to a designated
area of your server which with some practice management systems allows for
automatic entry into the patient file.
We are also in discussion with various software providers
about sending results back in XML format, a symposium will be held on the
morning of Friday 13th, in the Austin suite (between the NIA & ICC)
at Congress. |
| UK - Courier
Solutions |
As part of Axioms ongoing
drive to provide the highest level of quality and service we are pleased
to announce new courier routes. The illustration highlights areas in which
runs have been developed and we are particularly interested to talk to practices
in these areas. Our move to expand our courier services removes the uncertainty
of postal deliveries and allows practices to offer their clients reassurance
and peace of mind when dealing with an external laboratory.
Please contact Simon Wootton on 01626 355655 or email simonwootton
@axiomvetlab.co.uk to discuss the options available for your practice. |
