Sara gained an HND in applied Biology at Plymouth, before
moving into the NHS and working for 5 years at the Manor Hospital in Walsall,
here she gained an HNC in Haematology and Serology. Then to further her
studies Sara moved to the Southmead Hospital in Bristol for 6 years, where
she studied at Bristol Polytechnic and qualified as a Haematology Fellow
of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. From Bristol Sara moved to the
Lister Hospital in Stevenage where she worked in the Immunology Department
for 2 years. The next move was to the Haematology Department at Exeter Hospital
for 5 months before starting at (the then Bloxham Laboratories).
Sara has worked in the veterinary field now for many years
and although her speciality is in Haematology, she manages the combined
Chemistry, Haematology and the Endocrinology Laboratories at Axiom . |
